Definition and types of forced induction and cooling system components
A turbocharger is a device that uses exhaust gases to drive a turbine that compresses air in the engine, increasing its efficiency. Air conditioning compressors, such as a BMW E90 AC compressor or a Golf 5 AC compressor, are responsible for compressing the refrigerant in the air conditioning system. How do turbochargers, superchargers, and radiators work?
