Purpose and fitment

The presented armrest is a component designed for installation in the front right door of the Audi TT FV generation. The construction is designed for factory mounting points, which facilitates the replacement of a damaged or worn panel without the need for modifications. By maintaining the original geometry, the part works perfectly with other door trim components, the door handle, and electrical equipment.

Color scheme and interior integration

The black color of the armrest allows for an aesthetic match with standard Audi TT interior configurations. The neutral, dark shade promotes visual consistency with the dashboard, door panels, and center console. This finish reduces the visibility of minor dirt, which translates into a more orderly cabin appearance during daily use.

Functionality and ergonomics

The armrest serves an important ergonomic function – it provides stable support for the passenger's forearm, improving comfort during longer journeys. The integrated space for a speaker allows for the installation of the factory driver in the designated spot, which helps maintain proper acoustics and correct sound projection within the door area. As a result, the interior remains tidy, and the audio installation does not require additional visual modifications.

Technical characteristics and installation

The element belongs to the Door cards group, which means it is responsible for both aesthetics and protecting the door structure from daily wear and tear. Being adapted for installation in the front, right part of the vehicle body makes it easy to identify the correct side of the vehicle when selecting parts. The design solution provides for cooperation with the factory speaker, which allows for maintaining the original sound system and avoiding problems with fitting grilles or mounts.

Practical application and benefits of replacement

Replacing a worn or damaged armrest in the front passenger door allows you to restore the interior aesthetics and improve user comfort. Maintaining a consistent look for the door panels is important both for daily use of the car and in the context of the vehicle's future resale. Original door trim helps maintain the factory character of the cabin, which is particularly important for users who care about OEM equipment compliance. If you are planning a comprehensive repair or upgrade of the door area in your Audi and need other elements from the same group, such as side panels, decorative inserts, or handles, check the available parts in the Audi Door cards category.
