Purpose and fitment for Ford Mondeo Mk4

The presented ashtray is designed for the Ford Mondeo Mk4 model, with placement in the front part of the vehicle, within the centre console area. The design is compatible with factory mounts, which facilitates installation and allows for maintaining the original stylistic line of the interior. The item belongs to the Trims, decorative strips and decorations group, serving both functional and aesthetic purposes.

Function and ergonomics in the centre console

The ashtray in the centre console improves the ergonomics of the interior – it is easily accessible for the driver and the front passenger. The integrated design allows for:

• maintaining order in the cabin through a dedicated space for ash or small waste,
• a visually consistent finish of the console without accidental gaps or empty spaces,
• convenient use thanks to its location within natural reach. A well-fitted ashtray reduces the risk of unwanted vibrations and noise while driving, which positively affects the comfort of using the vehicle.

Characteristics and condition of the item

The offered item is part of the original Ford equipment, which helps maintain the factory character of the interior. As a finishing category part, the ashtray works with other centre console panels to create a uniform surface. The product is in used condition, meaning it comes from disassembly and may show signs of normal wear while maintaining functionality suitable for further use.

Why choose an original front ashtray

Using an original component in the front part of the centre console allows you to avoid fitment problems typical of aftermarket replacements. This solution is particularly beneficial when you care about:

• maintaining a consistent interior look in line with the Ford design,
• secure seating of the element in factory mounting points,
• easy replacement of a damaged or missing ashtray without modifications. Thanks to this, the ashtray is a functional addition to the centre console, supporting the comfort of daily vehicle operation.

Expanding your Ford interior equipment

Practical tips for choosing used interior elements

When selecting used interior components, such as a centre console ashtray, it is worth paying attention to the condition of the surface, the opening mechanism, and the completeness of the element.
