Purpose and compatibility

The presented seat cushion has been designed specifically for BMW 3 Series E90 LCI and E91 models equipped with sport seats. The component is intended for installation on the front axle, on both the left and right sides, allowing it to be used as a replacement for either the driver or passenger seat, depending on the interior configuration. Its original BMW origin ensures a precise fit to the factory rails and seat frame structure, without the need for mounting modifications. Consequently, the cushion can be used both for repairing a damaged seat and for replacing a worn upholstery element with a better-maintained counterpart.

Construction and functional properties

The cushion belongs to the group of components referred to as Seat covers; however, in practice, it serves as a complete seat cover for a sport seat. The construction is designed to work with the factory frame and padding, ensuring:

• a visually cohesive black leather interior finish,
• proper thigh and pelvic support for the driver or passenger,
• ergonomic seat shaping typical of BMW sport versions. The sporty profile of the cushion promotes body stabilization in corners while remaining comfortable for daily use. The black leather blends well with most 3 Series interior color configurations, facilitating an aesthetic replacement of the element without the need to interfere with other parts of the upholstery.

Service application and installation

This component is particularly useful in situations where the existing seat cushion has become worn, mechanically damaged, or deformed due to usage. Replacing the seat cushion alone is a more economical solution than purchasing a complete seat, while still allowing the original character of the BMW interior to be maintained. The original construction facilitates installation in a workshop specializing in the BMW brand or at an automotive upholstery shop. Thanks to the retention of factory mounting points and geometry, after proper installation, it is possible to continue using existing seat adjustments and other functions provided in the specific vehicle.

Benefits of choosing an original BMW seat cushion

By choosing this sport seat cushion, you gain:

• stylistic consistency with other interior elements of the BMW E90 LCI / E91,
• an ergonomic shape tailored to sport seats,
• the ability to restore driving comfort without interfering with the seat structure. This solution is aimed at users who expect to maintain the factory character of the car while wanting to improve the visual and functional condition of the seat without the costly replacement of the entire seat set. If you are planning a comprehensive repair or upgrade of the seating area in your BMW and need other components from the same group, such as additional cushions, backrests, or side covers, check the available parts in the BMW seat covers category.
