Purpose and function of the set

The security bolt set has been developed for BMW car users who expect solid rim mounting and additional protection against theft. The special socket profile that works with the adapter makes it difficult to unscrew the bolts with standard sockets, which increases the vehicle's security level while parked. The four bolts included in the set allow for the use of one security bolt per wheel, in accordance with standard service practice. This maintains the standard distribution of forces on the hub while providing each wheel with additional protection.

Design, color, and utility values

The bolts are manufactured as OEM mounting elements, which promotes proper fitment to the rims and hubs used in BMW E-series models. The applied black color allows for aesthetic integration with dark aluminum or steel rims, reducing the visual effect of the mounting elements "standing out." The included adapter allows for convenient installation and removal of the bolts using an appropriate wrench or ratchet, while also serving as an individual "key" for the set. Such a solution is particularly beneficial for users who frequently change wheels (e.g., seasonally) and expect efficient handling while maintaining the security function.

Benefits of using security bolts

• Increased level of wheel protection against unauthorized removal.
• Possibility to use one security bolt per wheel.
• Aesthetic fit thanks to the black finish.
• Convenient operation thanks to the dedicated adapter.
• Solution consistent with the nature of factory BMW solutions. For many users, it is important that the use of security bolts does not require interference with the rim or hub structure – the elements are mounted in place of standard bolts, maintaining service procedures known from daily operation.

Application in service practice

The security bolt set will work well both when used on factory rims and with accessory sets, provided their design allows for the use of bolts with parameters consistent with BMW solutions. The set is particularly useful in vehicles parked on the street or in areas with an increased risk of wheel theft, where additional protection has real significance. In the case of service work, it is important to store the adapter properly – preferably in the glove compartment or near the spare wheel – so that it is available during tire replacement or repair. Thanks to this, a mechanic or tire technician can easily remove the wheel, and the security function remains preserved on a daily basis.
