Purpose and fitment

The presented headrest is designed specifically for the rear seat row of the Volkswagen Touareg 7P generation model. The design allows for installation on both the left and right sides, which facilitates fitting to a specific interior configuration. Thanks to the factory mounting geometry, the component maintains the correct height and angle of head support, assisting the performance of passive safety systems.

Material and finish

The headrest is made of black leather upholstery, which allows for aesthetic integration with a premium vehicle interior. The leather provides a pleasant-to-touch yet durable material that withstands daily use well. The smooth surface makes it easy to keep clean, and the properly selected filling density translates into stable and comfortable head support during longer trips.

Function and benefits of installation

A properly selected rear seat headrest is important not only for comfort but also for passenger safety. The appropriate height and shape reduce the risk of cervical spine injuries during sudden braking or a collision. Installing an original component to replace a missing or worn headrest allows you to:

• restore the full functionality of the rear bench seat,
• maintain a consistent interior look with the factory upholstery,
• maintain an ergonomic head position relative to the backrest,
• increase travel comfort on long distances. Thanks to the use of black leather covering, the headrest blends well with other equipment elements, such as door panels or the center armrest, creating a cohesive and elegant interior.

Characteristics of the used product

The component comes from disassembly, which means it has been previously used but retains the functionality intended by the manufacturer. This type of component is a good choice for post-accident repairs, replacing missing interior elements, or restoring the original seat configuration. Choosing a used headrest allows for an economical restoration of factory equipment while maintaining compatibility with the vehicle's construction.
